About Coach

Bonjour! I am a French teacher at TCMS and I coach various levels of volleyball in the Brighton Schools. At home, I have 2 kids: Kate, 24 and Cole, 21. My dog Ollie is 5 and my husband Timmy just retired.

My family joined the JCC in 2010 with a $60 Groupon for a 3-month membership. We loved it. I stayed on and enjoyed the HIIT, step and body pump classes for years.

When the J opened backup in 2021 after Covid, I joined Brickyard CrossFit. I was truly humbled with my strength and fitness. My CrossFit workouts often aren’t pretty, and I have been modifying with recent injuries, but I’m always proud to reach new fitness goals. The sports that I have enjoyed are soccer, track, volleyball, downhill skiing, waterskiing, BMX racing, weight training. I am adventure-seeking and now that my kids are adults, I have more time to try new things. Recently, I added distance cycling, hiking and rucking. Pickleball may be next.

Motivation & Passion

My life-long sport is volleyball. I play 1-2x a week on sand, court and grass as a setter. I am moving better on the court than my aged 50+ teammates and I owe it to CrossFit training.
